ABOUT JERSEYBOY
Keith AKA Jerseyboy is not just a DJ, but a symbol of the longevity of the EDM music scene. With 25 years of experience behind the decks, Jerseyboy offers a unique and authentic DJing style using vinyl that focuses natural beat matching and longer interactions between two tracks. Born in Morris County, New Jersey, his DJ career started while attending the University of Pittsburgh in 1999, where he came up with local talents Scuba Steve, Joey Bananas, DJ Darby, Roess Reddick, and Colin Pierce, among others, playing hundreds of house parties across the underground Pittsburgh rave scene.
In 2004, Jerseyboy relocated to Charleston, SC, where he started Five12 Productions and began distributed high-quality DJ mixes (Free Your Soul, Remember Michael, The Spontaneity Series, Shave Your House) and other live sets from venues around Charleston. Associated with the Stillill Entertainment and Partiology crews, Jerseyboy held residencies at Torch, Wasabi’s late night club, and Johnson’s Pub - and supported larger acts like DJ Funk and Huda Hudia across Charleston, Columbia and Charlotte.
Around 2008, Jerseyboy stepped away from the music as turntables were replaced with CDJs. In the years that followed, EDM exploded in popularity and above ground festivals started popping up all over the country, drawing millions of people into the music across the globe. In 2020, in an effort to connect with people during Covid, Jerseyboy started doing a series of Facebook live mixes, which reignited his passion for dance music and its ability to bring together all people.
